ANNUAL EXMOOR PONY SOCIETY
PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION 2011

Members of the Exmoor Pony Society are invited to enter our annual Photographic Competition and compete to have their entry crowned Champion Photograph of the Year.

Classes for 2011 entries are:

Pony or Ponies in the Landscape
Action
The Competitive Exmoor
Pony and Person Interaction

and there are two categories for each class:
1) photographic prints (no photocopies please)
2) electronic files (jpegs or tiffs) either supplied on disk or emailed to the Secretary (caution - if emailing, do not reduce the resolution of your picture - if you need to make the file smaller, reduce the dimensions of the photograph)

For any class, you can either enter a print or an electronic file, not both.
All photographs submitted must have been taken by the member entering the competition.

Prizes
The photographer of the champion entry receives a cash prize of £50, a rosette and certificate, a mounted enlargement of their photograph and the Marjorie and Sam Gates Memorial Trophy which they keep for one year. The photographer of the reserve champion entry receives a cash prize of £25, a rosette and certificate and a mounted enlargement of their photograph. Rosettes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each class. Winners will be announced and presentations made at the Society AGM in May (winners will be notified in advance)

CLOSING DATE FOR THE 2011 COMPETITION IS 1st JANUARY 2012.
